The Last Paycheck
What's new
Updates to the game, newest first. Many of them come from players' feedback: thank you.
v47 29 October 2026
- Kevin's willpower challenge now shows what sets the size of the green zone: your mood, your income and the economy, each with its effect.
- The needle moves more slowly. Feeling low shrinks the zone more than before, and the zone never gets too small to hit, however fast the needle goes.
- When you tap, the needle stays where you stopped it for a moment, with the result, so you see how close you were. Suggested by a player on Reddit.
- The settings button is now a classic cog wheel.
v46 29 October 2026
- The settings now show the version number and a short What's new list, in your language.
v45 29 October 2026
- You can pay off a property's mortgage from your financial statement, in the race and in Freedom Heights. Its monthly payment becomes rent you keep, and your debt ratio drops.
- Your mood now has a clear effect on Kevin's willpower game: feeling low shrinks the green zone, feeling good widens it. A dashed box shows the size it would have with a neutral mood.
v44 29 October 2026
- Freedom Heights has no stock market, so your shares are now sold at the day's price when you move up. The exit screen tells you the amount before you go. Your rivals follow the same rule.
v43 29 October 2026
- A property sale that costs you money now says how much you pay, instead of showing a negative amount.
- A buyer or a stock you already passed on can no longer be used afterwards.
- Store-credit payments now end after 24 months in Freedom Heights too.
- The bank no longer accepts an empty or negative loan amount.
- The Freedom Heights card fits on small phones, and a phone held sideways asks you to turn it upright.
v42 29 October 2026
- Fixed: in Freedom Heights, every deal showed "out of reach" even with plenty of cash. You can buy with cash again.
